Warranty Policy

This policy explains the warranty coverage offered on products sold by Newtab Technologies and the circumstances under which warranty claims are accepted.

Unless a different period is clearly stated on the product listing or invoice
• Most items carry a standard warranty period of 1 month from the date of purchase
• Repairs, upgrades and service work generally carry a 1 month warranty on the work performed
• Custom built systems carry a 1 year labour warranty
• Items marked as final sale or no warranty are sold without warranty coverage

Some products may carry additional manufacturer warranties. Where applicable, those terms operate alongside this policy.

The warranty is intended to cover
• Defects in materials or workmanship under normal, intended use during the warranty period

Where a valid warranty claim is accepted, Newtab Technologies may, at its discretion
• Repair the product
• Replace the product with an identical or comparable item
• Offer another remedy that is reasonable in the circumstances

Exclusions and conditions that void the warranty

Warranty coverage does not apply where a product has been affected by any of the following
• Misuse, abuse or operation outside the recommended specifications
• Damage caused by electrical failure, power surge or power interruption
• Physical impact, liquid damage or other accidental damage
• Unauthorized modification, opening, tampering or repair
• Incorrect or unsafe installation
• Use of incompatible accessories, components or software
• Virus infection, malware, operating system corruption or software conflicts

If any of these conditions are present, a warranty claim may be refused even if it falls within the normal warranty period.

To make a warranty claim, the customer must
• Provide the original invoice or receipt
• Present the product to Newtab Technologies for inspection, along with any accessories necessary for testing

Newtab Technologies will inspect and test the product to confirm the reported issue. If the fault is covered by warranty, the appropriate remedy will be offered based on section 2 above.

Management reserves the right to determine whether a fault is covered by warranty and to decide the most suitable remedy.
